Top tour guide We spent 2 days touring Angkor Wat and the temples around Siem Reap with Jimmy, and he was fantastic throughout. Excellent English, very trustworthy, and incredibly easy to communicate with. He planned a great tour with helpful recommendations, shared lots of interesting information about the temples and Cambodian culture, and genuinely looked after us during the trip. He’s also brilliant at finding the best photo spots. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Siem Reap.

Outstanding Guide We spent 3 days with Beng Voan (Jimmy) who was an outstanding guide. He picked us up at our hotel and, on Day 1 helped to organise our 3 day pass and discussed a possible itinerary. Day 1 we saw Angkor Wat; day 2 was Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm; day 3 we visited Bantey Srey and Preah Khan. Beng Voan has deep knowledge of the area and the sites and he is patient in explaining the details of construction, the symbols and bas reliefs. Importantly he was also able to explain the social structures and dynastic changes. His English is excellent and he is kind and considerate. He is an excellent driver who remains calm in sometimes chaotic situations. Beng Voan’ car is very clean and comfortable and he provides cold damp towels and water for those who, like myself, need to ensure they remain hydrated. I highly recommend Beng Voan (Jimmy) without hesitation.

A truly excellent guide to the wonders of Angkor Jimmy (Beng Voan) is a truly wonderful guide to the magic that is the Angkor complex. He is knowledgeable, personal able, has a great sense of humour and looks after one's various needs with care and attention. The very welcome cold scented face towels and chilled bottled water after each temple site is a case in point of the latter quality. I had been to the Angkor complex on four previous occasions but Beng Voan's depth of knowledge enriched this visit immeasurably. Oh, and he also has a very comfortable, near new Toyota people mover to get between sites. Beng Voan was recommended to me by a friend with considerable Cambodia experience and I have no hesitation in confirming that recommendation. I will certainly look to use him again on my next visit

A fab day at Angkor Wat with Jimmy! We loved our experience at Angkor Wat with Jimmy. He promptly started our early morning with a welcoming smile. We saw the sunrise over Angkor Wat and visited the other two main temples. He had a great knowledge of the history and readily answered our questions. The cold towels and water were a welcome treat. Highly recommend!!! This group of Chicagoans + Hermosa Beachers couldn't be happier!

The Perfect Guide for a Solo Traveller in Siem Reap I had the absolute pleasure of being picked up from the airport by Jimmy, and from the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease as a solo female traveller. He was incredibly friendly, helped with my bags, and took me straight out to explore temples straight from the airport, which was the perfect start to my trip. I ended up spending three days in total touring with him, and it was one of the best decisions I made in Siem Reap. We planned the itinerary together, so I could see everything I wanted, and Jimmy also added his own expert suggestions, which really enhanced the experience. He is always punctual, extremely kind, and clearly very knowledgeable. He also knows exactly where to go for the best viewpoints and photo spots, and kindly took some beautiful photos for me along the way. The absolute highlight was watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat. It was truly magical and something I will never forget. Thank you so much, Jimmy. I would not hesitate to recommend you and will definitely book with you again if I return to Siem Reap.

Like travelling with a very knowledgeable friend Jimmy was recommended to me by someone at my hotel and I am glad I listened. Excellent tour guide with humor and full knowledge of Cambodia Been with Jimmy for the past 3 days. This guy certainly knows his stuff being very informative and has a full knowledge of the history of Cambodia. Our trip to Seem Reap was an adventure only enhanced by Jimmy’s tours. I would recommend him to anyone wishing a full experience of Cambodia.

Touring Angkor Wat temples with Jimmy Definitely 5 stars all round. We have just been on the most amazing, informative and unforgettable 3 day tour with Jimmy. Jimmy has been amazing and he is eager to share his knowledge with visiting tourists wanting to hear the history of Angkor Wat and its surrounding temples and archaeological sites. Always moving at our pace and never rushing us to get through the day quickly; we were able to take all the photos we wanted. Jimmy knows the stories and legends behind the detailed carved friezes found in many of the temples, bringing them to life as you walk along the ancient passages. Our tour took us out to some of the remote temples and even up to the mountains to visit waterfalls and the large reclining Buddha shrine. We were kept well hydrated with cool water and we were very thankful for the cooling towels frequently offered to us. All in all 3 days simply was not enough, luckily Jimmy was available the next day so we added an extra day to visit more sites. I will never forget seeing the spring equinox rise over Angkor Wat, well worth getting up super early, made even better by Jimmy knowing the best spot to watch it and feel secluded from the other 40,000 people there. Thank you Jimmy, you have made our holiday truly special.
